HEAL Urgent Care to use CareRight for new facility

Heal Specialist Urgent Care has chosen CareRight, the flagship product of South Australian software provider Clintel Systems as an end-to-end PAS, EMR and billing and claiming solution in their cutting-edge Newcastle site. 

Heal Specialist Urgent Care is an innovative urgent care clinic that will revolutionise how urgent care is delivered in the Newcastle – Hunter region. Founded by Specialist Emergency Physician Dr Tim Stewart, Heal Specialist Urgent Care provides a fast, convenient alternative to waiting in the emergency department to access immediate medical care. Heal Specialist Urgent Care is a private clinic for people who require urgent medical attention for unexpected injuries and illnesses, where it’s not life threatening or severe enough for treatment in a hospital emergency department.

The clinic will open 7 days per week and operate 365 days per year offering convenient medical services to the local community.  Patients can book in using the Heal / CareRight’s online bookings system, or simply present as a walk-in and be cared for straight away. Patient triage, assessment and flow will be managed using CareRights powerful visual appointment & queue management tools. 

Careright will be deployed with a suite of tools allowing Heal to manage the patient journey and post-discharge care, including Patient Online Pathways providing for audit-trailed communication and patient management. The CareRight implementation is planned to deploy a fully integrated end-to-end urgent care software solution in conjunction with the launch of Heal Specialist Urgent Care, scheduled 28 February 2023. The project is anticipated as a long-term partnership, with Heal adapting and scaling CareRight in response to the ongoing growth of both Heal Specialist Urgent Care, and increasing demand in the urgent care industry.
